Potomac River Watershed Cleanup Sponsorship

The Alice Ferguson Foundation (AFF) would be honored to have your organization partner with us as a sponsor of the 24th Annual Potomac River Watershed Cleanup on April 14, 2012. The largest regional event of its kind, the Cleanup provides a transforming experience that engages citizens and community leaders and generates momentum for change. Since 1989, more than 100,000 volunteers have teamed with 400 partner organizations to tug over 3 million tons of trash from the watershed.

As a sponsor, you show support for a cleaner environment and healthier communities and will be recognized as such. The upcoming Cleanup in April is estimated to draw over 14,000 volunteers throughout the watershed, which includes D.C., Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The event has become a decisive catalyst for progress, uniting people throughout the watershed with AFF’s community spirit and we encourage your participation!
